As the founder and Chief Happiness Officer of Soul Happy People, my WHY is to help and inspire women to rediscover happiness, to believe in themselves, to chase dreams, and to “Be The Chight” – meaning to be the change and be the light you wish to see in your own lives.
I’ve spent the last 20 years BEING the change. Change was constant for me, and through my colourful adventures I’ve collected many “badges.” I embrace change with enthusiasm, knowing that each change adds bling to my life’s palette.
Through my own journey of self discovery, I found that the essence of authentic happiness always comes from within – and when we live a life of meaning and contribute our gifts to the world, we can express our soul-happiness fully and effortlessly.
As a creative serial dream-achiever, I bring forward an array of diverse expertise. With my contagious positive energy, I empower people through creativity, and I’m currently in the process of adding sound therapy as a healing modality. Bringing people together is one of my natural gifts, and I enjoy deep, authentic, and soulful connections with like-minded people.
During my journey of self-discovery, I’ve been extremely fortunate to work with truly inspiring mentors and therapists, all of whom have helped to untangle the obstacles holding me back, and unlock the secrets to finding my inner wisdom.
Learning about self-love and self-care has led to a deeper understanding of my own strengths and weaknesses. Armed with this heightened level of self-awareness, I’ve been able to connect with myself on a deeper level, and develop the confidence to take the action necessary in order to make those vital changes in my life.
My mission now, is to pass on my knowledge to others struggling with their own stumbling blocks in life. I want to help guide you to unlock your inner potential, be a better, happier version of yourself, and ultimately, have the confidence that no matter what life throws at you, you have the tools to make your dreams come true!
Is This For Me?
Whether you’re stuck in the puddle, up to your neck or drowning, I understand, because I’ve been there. And the good news is, there’s a way out. To quote one from my mentor, Marie Forleo: “Everything is figureoutable!”
When you work with me, you’re getting an unbiased diverse perspective, because there’s always many ways to solve a problem and I don’t stick to one strategy or tool.
I’ve experienced the benefits of having that unbiased, kind and friendly person to turn to. The best thing I did was honouring my need to get that little bit of extra help and support. And now it’s my wish that with a little help from me, you too can do that for yourself 🙂
Seeing Yourself As An Important Project Worthy Of Love, Time And Money
We all have that little critic inside of us who would say things like; “I will figure things out on my own!” “Do I really need a coach?” and “Isn’t this a bit woowoo?””
Being stuck in the puddle wasn’t fun, I was lonely, had no one to talk to, and it affected many levels of my life – relationships, work, and my mental and emotional health. Getting help is not a sign of weakness, but a strength. In terms of getting a therapist, coach or mentor, at first it felt unnecessary, but I soon realised how helpful it was. They gave me the guidance that I needed, I saw myself from a different perspective, and learnt how to manage my emotions better; ultimately enabling me to restart the engine. The constant feeling of ‘not good enough’ still bugs me at times, but with more practice, I have learnt to kill the negativity dragon faster!
